Professor Hirata participated in a forum on next-generation heterogeneous functional integration technologies, jointly organized by our university, National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, and the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Center, and delivered a lecture. From our university, President Kazuya Masu, Director Kentaro Nakamura of the Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology (FIRST), Specially Appointed Professor Takayuki Oba, leader of the WOW Alliance Heterogeneous Functional Integration Research Unit, Specially Appointed Professor Takashi Yoda of the same unit, and 11 other members attended. The forum brought together approximately 150 participants from academia and industry in Taiwan and Japan, making it a highly successful event.
