51st Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology
From September 2 to 4, Hirata, Ohkita (M1), and Nagano (M1) from our laboratory participated in the 51st Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology, held in Lyon, France. Ohkita and Nagano each gave an oral presentation, presenting their research findings and exchanging ideas with researchers from around the world. The symposium provided a valuable opportunity to discuss their research with other participants and gain insights for further advancing their work.
Researchers from the University of Sheffield, led by Prof. Rob Dwyer-Joyce, and Fraunhofer IWS, led by Dr. Stefan Makowski, also participated in the symposium. Both research groups are currently collaborating with our laboratory. During the symposium, we had opportunities to deepen our academic and personal exchanges with these researchers and held discussions on the results of our ongoing collaborative research as well as future research plans.
The symposium was a valuable opportunity to strengthen our international research collaborations and further develop our ongoing joint research activities.
