The 42nd Biomedical Engineering Public Seminar
On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, we held the 42nd Biomedical Engineering Public Seminar at the Yokohama Campus, featuring Professor Li Han (University of Turku) and Professor Dmitry Levshov (University of Antwerp), who were visiting our laboratory at the time.
At the seminar, they presented their latest research findings on single-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and one-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures, with a particular focus on structural characterization and functional evaluation through interface control and optical spectroscopy. Their presentations provided valuable insights into the latest developments in the structure and properties of one-dimensional nanomaterials and offered an excellent opportunity for research exchange that may lead to future collaborative research.
The seminar was also featured on the Institute of Integrated Research (IIR) website.
